SeaswedenA 25-year-old man from Fredrikstad in Norway who has been missing for over a month, has been found in the sea off the Swedish west coast.

The man had been missing since the beginning of July when his boat capsized on a fishing trip.

"It was around 4.30 on Tuesday afternoon that the individuals onboard a sailing boat hit the dead body under the sea off Norkoster. The man's relatives have been informed," said Katarina Claesson of the Swedish police in Strömstad.'

The 25-year-old joined a fishing trip with his friend in a 14 foot dinghy on July 8th. The boat capsized and the man's friend swam for five hours to shore in order to alarm the authorities.

The man's marathon swim led to the launch of a massive search and rescue operation for his 25-year-old companion but the efforts were ultimately to no avail.

The search was called off when it was recognised that there was no longer any hope of finding him alive.
