A series of photos were released by Anatolia news agency today, showing the moments immediately after a Turkish photo journalist was shot in Aleppo. Sinan Gül from the Anadolu agency was wounded in clashes in Syria yesterday.

Gül was shot in the foot while he was monitoring the clashes in the country with journalist Samet Doğan and cameraman Kenan Yeşilyurt. He was subsequently taken to a hospital in Aleppo before being transported to the southeastern Anatolian province of Kilis.
Gül was later flown to Istanbul to be hospitalized at the Medical Park hospital in Bahçelievler.
