Iran is affected by fluctuating oil exports

QalebaniManaging Director of National Iranian Oil Company Ahmad Qalebani says Iran’s crude oil exports have always been fluctuating either downward or upward.
Speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony to ink a contract for establishment of central power plant west of Karun, Qalebani said contracts for development of several joint fields will be signed next week.

He said contract for development of Jofeir oil field will be inked with an Iranian contractor in few months.

Iran Power Plant Projects Management Company (MAPNA) and Iranian Oil

Engineering and Development Company (MATN) were signatories to contract for establishment of a central power plant west of Karun.

Under the contract a combined cycle power plant will be established in three phases to generate 484 megawatts of electricity.

The project, worth 350 million euros, will be financed by National Iranian Oil Company. The central power plant, west of Karun, will supply power to the oil and gas fields west of Karun, 50 kms west of Ahvaz and south of Jofeir oil field in the vicinity of the LNG 3200 project site.
