Dunya TV channel talk shows and its websites has said that Geo News and its anchors have been involved in the irresponsible journalism.
In its website, Dunya TV loaded a full material against Geo TV in the light of Dr Arsalan and Malik Riaz case.
“Geo News was admonished to airing baseless news against judiciary in Arsalan case order.”
The website stated,” Supreme Court in its short-order in Dr Arsalan case said media kept the people of Pakistan hostage for three days by broadcasting stories without any proof.”
The Supreme Court declared that the anchor persons of Geo News Hamid Mir and Kamran Khan admitted in a written statement that they had no proofs and that Shaheen Sahbai’s interview was uploaded without establishing the authenticity of its contents, it added.

Dunya TV and Geo News seem to be entered into a rat race for terming each other as irresponsible news channels with irresponsible anchors as their talk shows and news websites blaming directly for the manipulation of case against Dr Araslan Iftikhar and Malik Riaz.
The leaked video of a talk show having off-air conversations of program anchors Mubashir Lucman, Mehr Bukhari and Malik Riaz have created a mess in the leading channel, which are trying to secure their reputation and credibility.
On the other hand, Geo News is trying to repair the damage on its reputation after Supreme Court summoned of its anchors in the familygate case on highlighting corruption cases without ample proof.
Geo News got an opportunity to divert attention of the masses towards the fiasco surfaced in the leaked video of Dunya News talk shows.
