At least three people have been killed and several others injured as protesters went on rampage over an alleged desecration of the Holy Quran.

A large number of protesters set a police station and five vehicles on fire as news of the alleged desecration of the Holy Quran spread in the area.

According to preliminary reports, police have arrested a suspect with regard to the incident.alt
