China objects US decision on Iran

China%20hongChinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lee on Wednesday voiced opposition to the US Senate's recent decision against Iran. Hong described US action as unilateral and one-sided and said Washington is not entitled to force any country to implement the decision made inside USA.

He pointed to his country's economic, trade and energy ties with Iran and said Iran-china cooperation is quite clear.

Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Zhang Hao Ping in a press conference in Beijing harshly criticized the West's unilateral sanctions against Iran.

He said the US and EU consider themselves above United Nations authority.

Zhang said China cannot tolerate the West's unilateral sanctions against countries which keeps normal trade ties with Iran.
