Norwegian woman raped in Alanya, Turkey

A 35-year-old Norwegian woman was raped while she was on a holiday in Alanya, Turkey. She was lured into and raped in a grove area by two men, according to the newspaper Milliyet.

The woman told the police that that she was walking to the beach on her own when she was overtaken by two men forcing her into a grove of trees where they raped her.

After the rape, the woman managed to escape and ran into a property nearby where there was a Land Rover parked in the garden.

“She broke into my property and ran into the car which was parked in the garden. We usually keep the car key in the car so she just started the engine and drove straight into a large steel gate and drove off,” the car owner said.

“We found out that she had parked the car at the hotel and had run in there. She has already paid the expenses and told us she had a problem that made her escape, but more I do not know.

More injuries

The hotel confirmed that the 35-year-old staying at the hotel as a guest and ran in after having parked the car. The woman also had multiple injuries and was taken to hospital for further investigation.
