Perth. Four youths aged 17 and 18 have been hospitalised in Royal Perth Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries with cuts and stab wounds after being set upon by 30 people outside a party in Kenwick early this morning.

They were walking along Adana Elbow in Kenwick after leaving a party. As they past another party, a group of up to 30 people outside demanded the four hand over the alcohol they were carrying.

Police said the group then surrounded the four teens and pelted them with bottles. One was pushed to the ground and punched and kicked, his phone was also stolen from his pocket. He received a cut to the arm.

A second teen was hit in the jaw with a bottle that smashed and was stabbed in the back - possibly with a broken bottle - as he tried to run off. A gold necklace was ripped from his neck. A third teen received a minor cut to his hand, while the fourth suffered an 8cm gash to the middle of his back. Detectives are continuing their inquiries. TOT News
