The Oslo Times take a look to this new concept of tourist villa let start with a one in offering:
Welcome to the Valley View Villa (VVV) ....where the natural sounds make music, the breeze creates the mood and drama, the sunshine throws light upon intimate conversations and cherished memories; and the scenic beauty of the environment is never too monotonous to stop admiring.
Here you may have at your exclusivity, a spacious garden with flowers in almost every season, and the grass that challenges the luxury of the best beds....a balcony that overlooks the entire valley...and needless to mention a double bedroom of substantive dimensions that opens up to the balcony, a drawing cum dining room with a television set (if you ever get time off from your adventures!) at your disposal, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms with running water.
Set in the backdrop of the small hill town of Bhowali, just 14kms short of Nainital, the valley that comprises the district is relatively small and stretches up to the tourist hot spot of Bhimtal. It is famous for its moderate temperatures, accessible terrain and lush greenery that abounds it. It also houses two famous lakes – the Sattaal (seven mini lakes that co-join to make one) and The Garudhtal (haunted lake- not literally though!). With the pristine wilderness harbouring spectacular flora and fauna, it is ideally suited for people wanting to go a little off beat and indulge in some tough treks if they are physically well endowed for it. Located at a point almost somewhere in the middle of the valley is the Villa. As a matter of fact location wise, it is most easily approachable yet remarkably secluded (right on the fork of the Sattaal road bend). A short drive either way may take you to Bhimtal or Bhowali to the nearest ATM and market place for supplies.
An hour’s drive may have you meandering around the roads leading you to Mukteshwar and Ramgarh both popular tourist destinations. Forty-five minutes on the road may lead you to the regions bustling town of Nainital and from there you may go on to another spectacular picnic spot- Pangot.
Utttarakhand state abounds in wildlife and natural beauty, and additionally the Corbett national park and Tiger reserve is just two hours away. There’s a lot more to observe and enjoy- the culture, seclusion, the serendipity and of course modern provisions at the same time.
The nights may have you stretched out in the balcony- lazy yet refreshed and hear the sounds of the jungle across and beyond....and believe me, you CAN get very lucky if you have a camera at your disposal.
So get in touch if you wish to enjoy the true essence of staying in the hills...!
