Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre says that the unanimous agreement in the UN Security Council to send more observers to Syria, is positive.
The decision sends a positive signal that the world stands more united in its demand for an end to the violence in Syria, Støre says.
However, the Norwegian Foreign Minister warns against too high expectations after the decision to send 300 UN observers to Syria.
He asks the Syrian authorities to stop the violence and prepare the best working conditions possible for the observers.
