Abbrettssak Thumb Medium256 171On the third day in court, Anders Behring Breivik declared Norwegian prison terms "pathetic," and stated that acquittal or the death penalty are the only "logical outcomes" of his massacre.

In Wednesday's questioning, the prosecutor probed about Breivik's trips to Liberia and London, and how he organized the anti-Muslim network "Knights Templar."

Breivik also made it clear what his thoughts are in regards to his sentencing.

"Do you want to receive the death penalty?" asked prosecutor Inga Bejer Engh.

"I don't want to be sentenced to death, but I would have respected that decision. I will not acknowledge 21 years in prison, it's a ridiculous sentence," Breivik replied.

Furthermore, Breivik told the court that he had not thought he would survive July 22nd at all, but that he had come to terms with death and that he thought it would be a suicide attack.

Most of Wednesday's questioning was focused on his role in the network "Knights Templar," in which he claims he has several accomplices. A network which police investigation has not been able to find any trace of, according to the prosecution.

The questioning was a bit more aggressive than on the first day of examination, and it soon became evident that Breivik was becoming irritated. He refused to answer several probing questions.

Towards the end of the day his defense lawyer Geir Lippestad took over the questioning.

Although Breivik claims to have spoken the truth during questionings, he also stated that he has chosen to leave out certain information, and that his testimony only constitutes 98 percent of what he knows.

The questioning on Thursday is expected to centre around Breivik's bomb attack against the Government's main office building downtown Oslo.
