    Update: Mali Hotel Siege, security authorities kill five militants

    June 19, Bamako: The Malian Authorities on Monday  stated that  “Malian security forces have killed five militants involved in an attack on a luxury resort popular with Western expatriates outside Mali's capital Bamako”.

    Security Minister Salif Traore said, "This was without doubt a terrorist attack,". The anti-terrorist forces arrived on the scene immediately after attack and killed five terrorists.

    The operations continued throughout the night.
    Militants  who attacked  the resort had some accomplices who had not been killed or detained. Traore added. On Sunday night, authorities reported that two of the assailants had been killed.
