Sweden’s Prince Carl marries Reality TV star Sofia Hellqvist
Sweden’s Prince Carl Philip has married former reality TV star and glamour model Sofia Hellqvist, 30, in a lavish ceremony in the chapel at Stockholm’s Royal Palace on Saturday.
.The wedding ceremony took place inside Stockholm’s Royal Palace Guests on Red carpet Guests walked down a red carpet to the chapel ahead of the wedding Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and Sofia Hellqvist at their pre-wedding dinner.The couple had held a wedding dinner on the night before the event which was attended by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel arrived for the pre-wedding party and Crown Princess Victoria is Carl Philip’s elder sister Prince Carl Philip of Sweden.

The Swedish media made issue about Hellqvist’s past, which included posing topless with a boa constrictor for a men’s magazine in 2004, which includes posing with a boa constrictor and an appearance on the reality show Paradise Hotel, in which singletons compete to stay at a luxury hotel. “I don’t regret anything. All these experiences have made me the person I am. I wouldn’t have made those choices today,: she was quoted telling the Swiss media in response to her scandalous past.

On Friday evening, more than 200 wedding guests attended a dinner in honour of the couple on the island of Skeppsholmen. Carl Philip is third in line to the throne behind his elder sister Crown Princess Victoria and her three-year-old daughter, Princess Estelle.
