South African family find plane debris in Mozambique, could it be MH370?
March 12, Cape Town: Another piece of plane debris has been found on the coast of Mozambique, by a South African family vacationing there and it is expected to be examined by investigators to establish, whether it may have come from Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
According to reports, the piece is still in South Africa but it will be transported to an Australian laboratory in Canberra for analysis and examination by investigators from Malaysia, Australia, South Africa and engineers from Boeing.
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is the only 777 to be missing in the region where the piece was found, so there is a high possibility it is from the missing plane. On March 8, 2014, Flight 370 took off from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, en route to Beijing with 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board. The plane had changed course for no apparent reason before vanishing ver the gulf of Thailand.
