Railway line between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan inaugarated

Nov 29, Kabul: A Railway line between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan was inaugurated on Monday afternoo by the Afghan and Turkmenistan presidents Ashraf Ghani and GurbangulyBerdimuhamedow respectively.
Both the leaders declared that the new railway line would help promote trade in both the countries. " Today the railway joins Afghanistan with Turkmenistan, tomorrow with Iran and in the future with India and other countries, " Presodent Ghani said at the inauguration.
According to him this would help boost Afghanistan’s economy and create new job opportunities. Similarly, according to the President of Turmenistan,--"Turkmenistan will continue with joint social and economic projects with Afghanistan and that once the TAPI project is implemented thousands of jobs will be created."
