London Terror Attack: death toll rises to 7
June 4, London: The death toll in the London terror attack on Saturday has risen to 7, after a white van hit pedestrians on London Bridge , then three men got out and stabbed people in nearby Borough Market.
The Police have said that the three men were wearing fake bomb vests during the attack, which took place on a lazy saturday night in the market area which is known for its pubs and restaurant, killing 7 and injuring nearly 48 people
Meanwhile, most political parties have suspended national general election campaigning in light of the attack, but UKIP leader Paul Nuttall said he would carry on because that was "precisely what extremists would want us to do".
The prime minister May has chaired a meeting of the government's Cobra emergency committee and is expected to make a statement shortly.
