    During the International Conference: Women, Power and Politics – The Road to Sustainable Democracy on the 15th November 2013 in Oslo, Norway, Chief in Editor, Hatef Mokhtar meets with  Khalida Popal, project coordinator with Cross Cultures Projects Association.

    The conference was celebrating the Centenary of Women’s Suffrage. The conference is focusing on the importance of women’s political rights in relation to matters of international peace, security and sustainable development. The conference aims to look back in time as well as ahead to the future on how to involve new generations of women.

    During this meeting they discussed about women rights and freedom of speech in the South Asia countries, especially about Afghanistan. They also talked about the development and empowerment situation in these countries.
