Culprit behind Holy Land Church arson in 2015 convicted by Israeli court
July 5, Jerusalem: An Israeli Jewish extremist has been convicted by the Nazareth District Court for the arson on a famous Holy Land church back in 2015.
According to reports, the Israeli court convicted the 22-year-old Yinon Reuveni for the attack on the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish as the arson caused extensive damage to the building and burned prayer books.
The church, on the shore of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel, marks the traditional site of Jesus' miracle. It is one of the most popular stops for Christian pilgrims visiting the Holy Land.
