    BBC staff detained in North Korea

    May 9. London: A journalist working with BBC has been detained in North Korea. Rupert Wingfield-Hayes, has been detained in the country and is being expelled over his reporting, according to BBC on Sunday.

    BBC has stated that Hayes is among the three BBC staff  who were detained in the country on Friday as they were about to leave the country.
    The BBC team was in North Korea on a research trip wih Nobel prize laureates just ahead of the Workers Party Congress.
